Coulter’s Smile

We miss his smile.

A friendly smile makes you happy, and good news makes you feel strong. Proverbs 15:30

Today we're remembering Coulter's smile and the joy it brought into so many lives.

When he smiled, he always lifted the left side of his mouth a little higher than the right. It made his smile just a little crooked and mischievous and seemed to help him get away with almost anything. It could make you remember how much you loved him and frustrate you at the same time, but always in a good way.

He was quick-witted, deeply thoughtful, and somehow able to be both intense and completely goofy at the same time. He loved to make others laugh, and he could turn serious conversations into laughter in seconds.

Remember Coulter's smile today and pass it on. Smile at someone in a way that makes them feel better and makes them wonder what you know that they don't.

If you are having a hard time smiling today, borrow a little of Coulter's smile. Be kind to yourself. Reach out to someone and let them know the weight you are carrying.

And remember, you are loved more than you know.
