Halloween 2026

I've never been a big fan of Halloween. But Coulter and his mother loved it!

It was something they shared, and I always enjoyed watching how much fun they and his brothers Trevor and Dylan had: carving pumpkins, coming up with costumes, trick-or-treating, and often having a house full of friends before they headed out for the night.

They would come home with sometimes 20-30 pounds of candy and plenty of stories about their adventures. As they grew older, the costumes and parties changed, but the fun never really did.

I may not have loved Halloween, but I loved watching them enjoy it.

We miss the season leading up to Halloween and those nights. And we will miss the Halloween memories we imagined making someday with Coulter and his children.

But today, we want to remember the laughter, the costumes made with way too much thought and preparation, the mountains of candy, and the joy Coulter brought to those nights.

Thank you to everyone who celebrated Halloween with Coulter and our family over the years. Those memories mean more than you know.

Happy Halloween, my precious son. You are missed today and every day, and by so many more than you understood. We love you. 🎃

You Are Loved More Than You Know.
